SERVANT LEADER MINISTRY

In the 6th Chapter in the book of Acts when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecian against the Hebrews stating the widows were being neglected in the daily ministry. The disciples, therefore, called the multitude unto them to look out amongst them and choose seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. Therefore, the office of Deacons was established. Timothy continues with the qualifications of a deacon. The Servant Leader Ministry is a servant to all. The Servant Leader Ministry is to assist the Pastor in advancing the general interest of the “church body” and to have charge of the sick and needy members of the church, community, etc. They are to act as counselors and assistants to the Pastor and congregation. The Servant Leader Ministry is also required to assist the Pastor during communion and to provide communion for the sick and shut in.
